school. nus.
is it better to fight for you life for a honours degree, or relax and pass your time happily in nus and graduate with just a bachelor's degree?
but is it as easy as it seems to be?
it's only the 2nd week of school. and there you go - the ugly sides of people.
ok so the past week of school --- FIRST WEEK! omg sem 2 has begun.
and so for the record, i have burnt my tongue 4 times this week. due to my greediness in drinking the soup from the soup stall. oh wow. i guess soup's not gonna be on the menu for the next few weeks then.
anw nothing much during this first week of school. i din fall asleep during any lectures, and i have a physical chem test next week. on the 2nd week of school. now look what mean lecturers can do.
and so. as everyone is, i am just as mad over the twilight series of books, reading it all the way through social work lecture today. instead of learning to do something compassionate.

ok i guess it's about time i updated something (ey, ron?)
it's a new year! 2009. but it doesnt feel like a new year.
and so from the last time i blogged, everything seems like a blast.
christmas! i spent 2 days before christmas at fiona and brenda's party. which. pretty much ended in a different way we all expected it to end.
since pictures say it all.
and so alan rented a pick up, which we decorated and drove around, excited for the approaching christmas.
then.
boom! a car crashed into our pick up.
still alive and kicking though.
quite an experience, something new. but obviously i wouldnt want to go thru it again. hmmm.
and the days before christmas was spend strolling across orchard road, zi pai-ing with all the trees and nice decorations, before settling for a very nice and unique dinner. ((:
then it was off to bryan's place for mahjong and rock band for christmas! haha.
met up with jiamin and ju to catch up on gossips at the new jurong point! haha so big and nice.
duck at diao xiao er was great too, and a quick stopover at jiamin's ntu hall room.
t19's class bbq at my place was next! it was greaaattt meeting everyone again, and catching up and watching everyone get fat. but i'm too lazy to get any photos up here since there wasnt like one where eveyrone posed together.
so i guess for those who din turn up. just rmb the image you had of all of us during those jc days, but sideway-ly larger.
and moments just before the new year, we spend it at beeyan's farm. OMG farm! i've never been to a singapore farm. but it was a new not very pleasant experience judging by the number of hungry mosquitoes looking for fresh city blood.
they grow those plants which people buy during the new year. and as usual i have no idea what those plants are called. hmmm.
and so we left the very ulu area inside lim chu kang, back to civilisation and off to clarke quay, just in time to watch the fireworks as singapore hit 2009. very nice, very very nice. it was a nice start, definitely, to a new year.
after that it was off to the long awaited (after taiwan) trip to gentings and kl! haha.
but sadly, it was raining. and we din really get to try much of the rides until at night, when the rain kind of stopped. unfortunately, the wind was so strong. we decided to go back indoors and hide in the warm comfort of the hotel room.
then it was down to kl, where obviously it wasnt that cold anymore. and it was shopping shopping and more food.
the result of shopping, well i din really buy much stuff. and obviously you can tell they're not ALL mine. like since when am i an arsenal supporter. hmmm. but yea, i guess we just couldnt find much stuff that we really liked!!
but well, it was the food that was good. YUMMY. cravings have already started! and they cant be satisfied until i go to kl or gentings again!
like the lo mai kai in gentings. omg the sex. hahah!
and so the past 2 days was spent at fop chalet. having a last chilling out session before the next sem starts next week. shucks. what a quick one month.
it's on to sem 2 and another hectic 3 1/2 months of crazy never ending lectures, tutorials, labs and the worst feared exams.
